November Headliner Announced: Stuart Goldsmith

Stand-Up Tokyo and Good Heavens Comedy Club are very excited to announce that STUART GOLDSMITH will be continuing our tradition of bringing top-class English comedy to Tokyo on November 17th!

With a reputation for smart, accessible stand-up, Stuart’s enthusiasm and natural charm conceal a quick wit and fearlessness honed by his early career as a street performer. Surprisingly candid about his exploits, sexploits and textploits, Stuart likes to get his teeth into love, romance and the downsides of getting what you want.
In addition to being an Edinburgh Fringe veteran, with six solo shows under his belt, Stuart is in hot demand internationally as a touring comedian. In 2015 he made his debut at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, and has been invited to perform at both the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the New Zealand International Comedy Festival.
As well as being one of the top comics on the UK circuit, Stuart Goldsmith is widely known for his hugely acclaimed podcast “The Comedian’s Comedian“, where he has interviewed the likes of Jimmy Carr, Bill Burr, Rhod Gilbert, Greg Proops, Sarah Millican and Hannibal Burress.

And if you won’t take our word for it….

Since coming into public consciousness in 2010, when Stuart was a semi-finalist on ITV’s Show Me the Funny, stuart has gone on to collect a range of industry accolades. Stuart won the Malcolm Hardee Award at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival 2012, he was nominated for Best Show at the Amused Moose Edinburgh Comedy Awards 2015, and he won the Spirit of the Fringe award at the New Zealand Comedy Festival 2013.
